Richard Falk is Albert G. Milbank Professor Emeritus of International Law at Princeton University, where he taught for four decades, and Research Fellow at the Orfalea Center of Global Studies at UC Santa Barbara. He served as UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories occupied since 1967 (2008–2014) and has been a member of the UN Human Rights Council’s commissions of inquiry on Lebanon and Palestine. Author or editor of more than fifty books on international law, human rights, geopolitics, and world order — including ‘The Great Terror War,’ ‘Palestine: The Legitimacy of Hope,’ and ‘Power Shift: On the New Global Order’ — Falk is widely regarded as one of the foremost living voices on international law, human rights, and the Palestine question.
